Holding Office Hours - Meet Candidate for Utica 1st Ward Lou Poccia

* * * For Immediate Release * * *

Utica, NY, October 13, 2017 - Beginning Monday the 16th Lou Poccia, candidate for Utica 1st Ward Common Council, will start holding daily office hours.

Lou invites interested parties to visit, weekdays Monday through Friday from 10:30 until noon at 10-12 Liberty Street, Bagg's Square in Downtown Utica. Mr. Poccia will appear on the Republican, Conservative, as well as the Reform and "No Hospital Downtown" party lines.

Poccia stated, “I want voters to know I've signed the "#NoHospitalDowntown" pledge, meaning I'll work and vote to have Mohawk Valley Health System build their regional Oneida County hospital at St. Luke's and not in Downtown Utica. I’m against urban renewal threatening historic city assets and even more so against the disruption and eminent domain facing many businesses in Downtown Utica.”

Mr. Poccia continued, “I’m excited to meet and share more about my ideas with first ward voters. Please stop by to see me as I very much want to hear more of their concerns and ideas.”

Lou will be available each day until after elections on November 7th, when Lou seeks to unseat first term incumbent Councilwoman Maria Pezzolanella-McNiel.
