"MVHS has 3,500 FTEs, 571-licensed acute care beds (currently staffed for 375 beds), 202 long-term beds and a combined operating budget of $555 million."
September 9, 2021 - Per news story titled, MVHS could lose up to 800 workers over state vaccine mandate we hear, "With about 4,000 workers total, that means roughly 800 have decided not to get the shots."
May 6, 2021 - CEO of MVHS offers a Memo with "Subject: New Initiatives to Address Staffing Shortages."
September 15, 2020 - Becker Hospital Review reports, "The health system furloughed about 20 percent of its workforce of 4,000 in April as part of a cost-cutting plan..."

Consider - MVHS states their jobs "FTE" Figures, but these positions are distributed over three counties (Oneida, Herkimer & Madison) and 42 MVHS Locations.

"Both Unions will be desolved, a new agreement for all employees cause all will be NEW HIRES! Bye bye seniority, years of services, accrued everything. They need new location just to cut payroll by 50%"
